A Thomas Pardoe creamware sepia decorated jug, probably Swansea Pottery, the decoration similar to the two other sepia decorated items listed, it has gilded initials in Pardoes hand 'J M J'. I cannot find an illustrated Swansea jug with this handle but I do have picture of a Jug from the S H Williams collection with the same shaped handle, S H Williams issued a booklet on Swansea blue and white Pottery. The base has a blue tint to the glaze There is a restored crack to handle and a restored chip to the inner rim as seen in pictures, neither detract from this rare item of Thomas Pardoe decorated pottery. SOLD £ 0.00
