A Nantgarw Porcelain Plate 10 " With C scroll moulding. This plate, from the Duke of Newcastle service, is illustrated in "Nantgarw Porcelain" figure 28. by the late Rowland Williams, In his book he describes this plate as decorated in London by Moses Webster while working for Robins and Randall of Spa Fields Islington and describes it as follows. " This plate is particularly commendable as it represents a fine balance between painting of the finest quality and exposure of the beauty of the porcelain itself " There is a small glazed over firing flaw above the tulip, from the time of manufacture and has been decorated over by Moses Webster while at Robins & Randall It is in excellent condition Circa 1818-20 Impressed Nantgarw C W SOLD £
