This Nantgarw Porcelain plate is from the Sir Leslie Joseph collection and was sold by Sotheby`s at Margam May 1992 part of lot 572. Decorated at Nantgarw by Thomas Pardoe or his son William Henry Pardoe in or around 1820. Of lobed form with a C scoll moulded border which is unique to Nantgarw and decorated with a chocolate edge to the border the c scrolls enclosing five floral sprigs and a butterfly the centre with a floral spray and a butterfly In excellent condition, bears a Sir Leslie Joseph collection sticker Circa 1820-23 Unmarked SOLD		£ 795.00
