This Swansea Ribbon or wicker border pottery plate showing this very unusal scene is in as good condition as any of these plates I have seen. The pink lustre is as bright today as when it was produced between 1811 and 1817. Its lustre is bright, and the delicate ribbon border has survived without any form of damage From the Sir leslie Joseph collection. Impressed Dillwyn & Co.
