A Rare Costrel or Pilgrims Flask. This is illustrated in Gwyneth and Ieuan R Evans new edition of Ewenny Potteries, Potters & Pots, on page109 figure 69 where they describe it as follows Sgraffito decoration-onesie-stylized flowers otherwise rose and circles around circumference. No mark probably Claypits. Circa 1900. A cord would have been passed through the handles and supposedly hung around the neck. SOLD		£ 200.00
