Swansea Porcelain coffee cup & saucer SOLD
A fine Swansea Porcelain coffee cup and saucer, the fine duck egg body decorated with gilt urns bearing roses and blue convolvuli and embellished with tiny flowers and leaves between tulip shaped patterns of acanthus leaves enclosed by C scroll foliage and swags. A trio of this service is illustrated Swansea and Nantgarw Porcelain by Fergus Gambon page 20 where he states it was decorated at the factory. The pattern is illustrated in Swansea Porcelain Shapes and Decoration by A E Jones & Sir Leslie Joseph on page 206 In excellent condition circa 1815-17 SOLD		£ 475.00
